Santa Delivers

"What do you want for Christmas?" asks Santa.

The little boy says, "A Batman Lego Xbox game".

"Hmmm... I don't know", says the tween.
"Well, I'll surprise you then!" says Santa.

"I want an electric guitar", says the cute tomboy.
Well, Santa came through, and surprised Haylee with a tabletop electric drumset. Preston also received a harmonica in his stocking, so the Kids' Band is rehearsing for their big debut! More to come...
This is our neighborhood Santa, literally about 1 1/2 miles away. I might have mentioned him last year, but this guy decorates his house to the max and converts his garage into Santa's house. He portrays the big guy Dec 15-23 from 7-9 pm each night and you can take your own pictures! There's always at least one helper elf and the kids can pick candy canes and little toys. He collects food donations for our local food bank and that's all he asks for. You can walk around into his backyard, which is all decorated, too, with a sleigh for the kids to sit in. There's also an outdoor fireplace to warm up your hands. I am so impressed with his willingness to serve the community and make visiting Santa so much easier on us parents!
