Well, Preston is 3 and I know what he's been up to lately. It's amazing to look at pictures from a few months ago and see how much he's grown. There's not much toddler left other than the daily whining that we are attempting to rid him of. In January, he moved out of nursery and into the Sunbeams class at church. (see top pic of his first day) When we've peeked in on him, he is the best one in his class. Now why can't he act so well at home???
He goes to preschool on Tuesday and Thursday and loves it. I'm amazed at his quest for learning, especially the sounds of the alphabet and how to write his letters. He wants to know how to spell everything. Even if he's not writing the word, he just likes to hear us spell and then he says, "OH, I didn't know that!" with a big, curious smile on his face. He also has playgroups on Wed and Friday, so he's very socialized. One of his favorite activities at home is playing computer games (yes, we start them young!) He especially loves Jump Start Spanish and I love to hear him repeating the phrases and rolling his little tongue!
He still loves CARS characters and just got his second pair of Lightning McQueen tennis shoes. He also has red crocs in the shape of Lightning and his favorite shirts are those with CARS on them. I'm attaching a picture from Disney where he got to meet LM. Notice that he's wearing his new LM hat and shirt!
He has begun his birthday wish list and plans. He wants a pool party, so I hope the pool is open by the end of May. He says he wants lots of Webkinz (he has 3), action figures (because Hannah won't share hers), a watch and a telescope. The theme of the party changes daily, so I'll have to keep you posted... May will be here too quickly and my baby is growing up!
