What to do on my week off...

This entry is really more for my personal reflection. I know it has no real appeal to anyone but me, but it makes me feel better to put all this in writing on this "hump day" of the week.
I am enjoying a week of no lessons, well there are a few make-ups, but otherwise quiet and "unscheduled". There are all sorts of ambitions of what to do with this time, and I always forget that I'll be lucky to accomplish one project out of the many. So it's Wednesday, nearly 5:00, and I can proudly say that, so far, I did get some of my "to do" list crossed off:
1. Quality 'Preston time' at Monkey Joe's bounce house (we still need to get to the library)
2. My recipes organized- finally!
3. Purchased TTU football tickets for our Texas trip next month.

The other projects that have been started are:
1. Preparing my garden tomatoes to be made into homemade spaghetti sauce this weekend. Many have been pureed and placed in the freezer. The kids don't like chunks in their sauce, so ask me how it turns out using this process.
2. Learning how to digital scrapbook (I'm signed up and ready to go for a class on Photoshop at JessicaSprague.com. She's a friend at church!)
3. A few things gathered for that garage sale I hope to do on Saturday.
4. Memorizing an Italian arietta that I'm singing next week.

The projects I hope to begin:
1. Completing the necessary meeting notes and sign-up binders for a meeting I have on Sept. 7th for the next HUGE project of my life... The Apex Nativity Celebration. You can visit www.apexnativity.org to see what I'm now in charge of planning.
2. Find a recital spot and other music teaching stuff.
3. Begin planning Hannah's birthday party.

Now that I have all of that in writing, I feel more accountable to myself, and anyone reading, and less likely to spend another afternoon napping, like I did today!!!!!!! :)

After talking to you, I seriously don't think you spend a whole lot of days napping and wasting time! You have it all laid out very well!
